Amadeus Diamond to undergo winter makeover
Amadeus River Cruises is to completely refurbish the Amadeus Diamond over the winter.
The 146-passenger ship will rejoin the fleet in March, when she will continue sailing the Seine.
Executive vice president Marcus Leshovar said the ship will be completely revamped, including the bedrooms and the bathrooms, but the sizes of the 68 cabins and eight suites will remain the same.
"The new decor will be lighter, brighter, contemporary and elegant, more like the Dream," said Leshovar.
The revamp will begin immediately after this weekend’s CLIA River Cruise Conference in Paris, during which the Diamond hosted a number of the 200-plus travel agents who attended the event.
