Amadeus has become a global preferred supplier to leading business travel consortium International Travel Partnership.

The 400-strong agency group will receive a “global technology” platform developed by the GDS including its browser-based Amadeus Selling Platform and a corporate self-booking portal.

Amadeus multinational customer group vice-president Gillian Gibson said: “Technology plays a stronger role than ever before in a travel company’s choice of distribution partner. This deal with ITP is yet more proof that the strength of Amadeus’ technology combined with our world-leading distribution system is a winning solution.”

Jean-Claude Fert, CEO of ITP-International Travel Partnership, said: “ITP has decided to chose Amadeus as its preferred technology partner given the commitment and willingness that Amadeus has shown in providing and developing the very best technical and web distribution solutions to our individual agency partners and our joint corporate customers around the world”.
