American adding extra London flight from LAX
American Airlines will add an extra direct service between London Heathrow Airport and Los Angeles International Airport from March 2015.
The new flight will be operated with the latest addition to American’s international fleet, the three-class Boeing 777-300ER.
It means American and partner British Airways will operate four flights a day between the two cities, year round.
The new non-stop service begins on March 29.
"As the premier airline in Los Angeles, this additional frequency to London caters to our high-end Los Angeles-area customers," said Andrew Nocella, American’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
