American adding London flights from Philadelphia, LA
American Airlines will launch second daily flights from London Heathrow to both Philadelphia and Los Angeles starting this weekend.
The extra flights to LA start on March 29 and from March 30 to Philadelphia.
Operated on Boeing 757 aircraft, the Philadelphia flight leaves Heathrow at 8.20am and arrives at 11.40am local time, returning at 9.45am and arriving in London at 10.10pm.
The LA service, using a Boeing 777, departs London at 12.15pm and arrives at 3.30pm local time, returning at 5.50pm and landing at Heathrow at 12.25pm the next day.
American is also starting a new route from New York JFK to the UK city of Birmingham from May 8.
