American Airlines launching LA-Jamaica flights
American Airlines is adding nonstop flights from Los Angeles to Montego Bay, Jamaica beginning December 18, 2015.
The new route is open for sale and will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Saturdays.
"We are pleased that American Airlines has chosen to expand their service to Montego Bay with this new nonstop service" said Paul Pennicook, Jamaica’s director of tourism.
"California is a notable market for Jamaica and the addition of this flight will increase the destination’s convenience to West Coast travelers."
The route will be operated using a Boeing 737-800 with 16 first class and 144 economy seats.
