American Airlines pilots warned by their own union
Flight cancellations and delays have been plaguing American Airlines and the media and the airline itself think it is because of planned pilot "sick outs" or intentional delays and calls of maintenance or malfunction.
The problem has gotten so big that airline experts are telling agents and travelers not to book American.
American has warned the pilots’ union that it will seek legal action if these issues continue. In response, the Allied Pilots Association Acting President, Keith Wilson has asked his pilots not to call in sick, make unnecessary maintenance reports or delay-making detours.
AP reports that Wilson told his pilot members that if they are, indeed, sabotaging the airline in this way "that activity must cease immediately,"
