American Airlines worker made threats to kill TSA agent
An American Airlines worker is accused of assaulting airport police officers and threats to kills a TSA officer.
AA employee Jordan Moore was stopped at a PreCheck checkpoint and refused access as he didn’t have a proper ticket, according to a federal indictment.
He was taking a personal trip which was not connected to his job with the airline.
After being stopped, he was then accused of a racial slur and threatening to kill one officer.
At that point he was banned from the airport for the day but returned two hours later, court documents say.
He then went into a further meltdown, cursing officers.
"Moore refused the officers’ commands, continued cursing at the officers, and violently resisted arrest. It took approximately five CMPD officers to subdue him and place him in restraints," the indictment read.
American Airlines said it is cooperating with law enforcement and ‘have suspended the employee pending the investigation.’
The incident dates back three months and only came to light after documents were unsealed and obtained by local media outlet WSOC TV.
