American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has completed its acquisition of Hogg Robinson.
The £410 million tie-up between two of the world’s largest business travel companies was agreed in February.
Doug Anderson, CEO of American Express GBT, said: "The combination of American Express GBT and HRG will provide clients and travellers with an unrivalled offering. I look forward to integrating our companies and combining the vast experience and expertise of both. We’re proud to deliver enhanced value to all stakeholders."

The HRG brand will remain in place as the integration process begins.
From today, Joanna Macleod, American Express GBT’s EVP, Traveler Care, has been appointed chief transformation officer to facilitate the integration of the two companies, while William Brindle, HRG’s chief operating officer, has been appointed chief operating officer for American Express GBT.
