Americans told to reconsider travel to Canada
The US State Department has cautioned Americans about traveling to Canada. It is advising its citizens to reconsider going to Canada, upgrading the advisory to ‘Level 3 – Reconsider Travel.’ It is the second highest advisory.
Three weeks ago Canada unilaterally reopened its land borders for Americans to visit. Canada has recorded more than 21,000 cases in the past week which is just a small fraction of the 900,000 cases in the US during the same period
Fully vaccinated Americans with a negative Covid test can avoid quarantine upon arrival in Canada.
