More than 75 members of the Sydney chapter of the 30+ year old professional writer’s association and their guests attended the event to hear Paul Burkett, General Manager, highlight the details of the revamped 415 room property previously known as Rydges Jamison and the Amora Group.
While the focus is on business class accommodation complemented by superior service, the CBD location of the hotel also makes it ideal for the leisure traveller, he said.

In New Zealand the 192 room Duxton Hotel Wellington, the 154 room Duxton Hotel Auckland and the boutique 44 room Duxton Hotel Okawa Bay Rotorua are also an integral part of the expanding Amora Group.
The company plans to enlarge its portfolio and is looking at expansion in other capital cities, said Mr Burkett.
