Anantara checking in to Mauritius
Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is heading to the island of Mauritius.
The company debuts on the Indian Ocean island later this year with the opening of Anantara Mauritius Resort, set within an integrated coastal development.
It is located just 15 minutes from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and close to Blue Bay Marine Park.
It will feature 164 rooms and suites, as well as eight luxury pool villas which will be added in the first half of 2020.
The resort will have multiple dining venues, poolside and beach facing bars, a spa, pool and kids club.
Water heating in all guest rooms will be solar powered, and other sustainable practises employed at the resort include décor made with recycled materials and no plastic straws.
The resort is slated to officially open during the fourth quarter of 2019.
