Anantara tuk-tuks into Dubai
Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, the fifth Anantara in the United Arab Emirates, opened this week.
Bangkok-based Minor Hotel Group said the 293-room resort offers the Middle East’s first over-water villas.
The new resort has introduced a Thai touch with tuk-tuks to transport guests around the resort and floating market-style boats gliding across the lagoon pools serving cocktails.
Minor has also acquired the 39-suite Sothea Boutique Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia, which will be rebranded to Anantara Angkor Resort & Spa later this year.
