The winners of the 2010 TravelMole web awards will be revealed from 3pm today at London’s Canadian High Commission.
The seventh annual awards will recognise web excellence in the following categories:

-Best tour operator site
-Best airline site
-Best hotel/resort site
-Best cruise site
-Best ferry site

-Best responsible tourism site
-Best WEB 2.0 mash up site
-Best meta search site
– Best travel blog
– Best deployment of mobile technology
– Best accommodation-only site
– Best use of video site
-Best travel agency site
-Best tour operator site
-Best airline site
-Best hotel/resort site
-Best cruise site
-Best ferry site
-Best tourist board site
-Best recruitment site
-Best responsible tourism site

TravelMole managing editor Graham McKenzie said this year there had been an “overwhelming response” and that this in turn had attracted many new sponsors.
He said: “The awards is always a lot of fun as well as recognising some of the best online players in the business and we really look forward to seeing everyone there this afternoon.”
The event, sponsored by Travelport, YouTravel, Canadian Tourism Commission, Avis, Vertical Group, On-Line Travel Training, Traveltek, Travel 2, Elmscott, Multicom, Home Away Holiday Rentals, CarTrawler and Blue Post Digital, will be followed by a party at the Texas Embassy.
