Another bomb joker is arrested
Yet another air passenger has reportedly been arrested after he made a joke about a bomb in his luggage. The online news provider Ananova reports that the un-named 22-year-old allegedly made the comment at Glasgow airport, where he was due to board a flight to Geneva. The man’s luggage was removed from the flights, which was delayed by nearly an hour, before he was arrested. He is expected to be appear in court this week. A spokesman for British Airways reportedly said: “A male passenger who was due to travel on flight BA1930C from Glasgow to Geneva was arrested by police for allegedly making about carrying a bomb. We strongly advise passengers not to make any remarks that could be misinterpreted; the authorities, quite rightly, take them very seriously.” Report by Tim Gillett, News From Abroad
