Apartments Abroad develops airport transfer service
A dedicated airport transfer operation offering pre-bookable taxis, minibuses and coaches has been developed by Apartments Abroad.
Resorttaxis.com is due to go live next week initially offering transfers at short haul destinations auch as the Balearics, Canaries, mainland Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, the Greek islands and Malta.
Agents using the site will be able to choose nett rates or select their own mark-up which will then be automatically calculated for all future bookings.
Nett rates start at £3.62 for a one-way private taxi transfer from Malaga to Torremolinos.
Resorttaxis.com will also be integrated with Apartments Abroad’s Travelhawk dynamic packaging tool. This will allow users to simultaneously search more than 16,000 properties featured on apartmentsabroad.com, lowest available fares offered by 50 airlines and car hire in 60 countries.
Apartments Abroad managing director Ian Thirlwall said: “The advent of dynamic packaging has meant that agents are now demanding more than just an accommodation-only service from us.
“We have responded through the launch of resorttaxis.com, and prior to that the introduction of Travelhawk, to ensure agents have access to the products and tools they require to effectively compete in the modern marketplace.”
