APT launches “Northern Territory” brochure for 2007-08
Eight “Premier Escorted” fully inclusive tours are featured in Australian Pacific Touring’s new brochure for The Northern Territory for season 2007-08.
APT’s Premier Escorted tours offer style and luxury, Freedom of Choice for dining and touring, as well as experiences exclusive to APT, such as joining the local mailman in Coober Pedy for a 12-hour 4WD mail run to remote outposts Oodnadatta, Peake Station, Anna Creek and William Creek Hotel.
The brochure also features a small group 4WD Kimberley tour and travel on The Ghan.
The most popular holiday is the 12 days Uluru, Kakadu & Top End tour which starts at Uluru and visits Kings Canyon, Alice Springs, Katherine and Kakadu along the way to Darwin. It is priced $4795 per person twin share which includes 19 meals and the stylish Sounds of Silence dinner at Uluru, sightseeing, entrance fees and cruises on Katherine Gorge, Yellow Waters and Adelaide River.
This tour has 14 scheduled departures in 2007 and 16 departures in 2008.
Duration of tours in the APT program range from six to 16 days, so there is product to match most customer preferences, said APT General Manager Sales and Marketing, Chris Hall.
“This APT NT program is ‘well tuned’, is well supported by travellers looking for high quality, is easy for agents to sell and so it required only minor changes,” he said. “And of course, the Territory is a great destination because there are so many ‘wow’ experiences, stunning natural beauty and rich cultural stories.”
