APT offers content-plus-commission web solutions
APT has launched a Web Partner Programme, offering its most up-to-date web content, free of charge, to travel agents in order to help them grow their business.
Agents who become an APT Web Partner can choose from three solutions, all of which offer the opportunity to embed real- time APT product information into their own site, removing the need to update information manually.
Two of the solutions feature a booking engine with the call to action solely channelled to the agency, enabling them to receive full commission from any bookings made online.
APT commercial manager retail, Susan Haberle, said: "This new Web Partner Programme is free, fast and easy to implement and above all the commission goes into the pockets of the agents themselves."
Fifty agents have signed up so far and another 35 in the pipeline. The three solutions offered through the Web Partner Programme are as follows:
White Site Solution: Offers a direct link to APT website content or the opportunity to embed it into the agent’s web page. A booking engine can be added with all bookings and commissions owned by the agent.
White Page Solution: Agents can choose to embed specific pages from the APT website into their own site. Again, a booking engine can be added with all bookings and commissions owned by the agent
API Solution: For agents who have sophisticated, high level IT support, they can integrate real-time information direct from APT into the look and feel of their own website. This solution offers access to destinations, travel styles, tours and cruises, pricing, availability, day-to-day itineraries, maps and images.
It is not available with a booking engine at present.
