APT offers deal on Tassie small group tours

APT is offering discounts of $350 to $400 per couple ($175-$200 per person) on its Gourmet Adventurer small group tours in Tasmania.

The deal applies to all 2008 and 2009 departures of the eight, nine or 10-day packages for bookings made before October 31 this year.

The discounted prices are from $3595 a person twin share for the 10-day package, from $3380 for the nine-day package and from $3120 for the eight-day variation.

Price includes 4WD exploring, accommodation, most meals, cruises, national park fees and entrance fees.

The itinerary features many gourmet delights, guided walks, exploring Binalong Bay in APT’s custom-built Mercedes Benz 4-Wheel Drive vehicle, overnight at Freycinet Lodge within the National Park, eco-adventure cruise along the rugged east coast from Port Arthur, exploring the ruins of Port Arthur Historical Site, stay overnight at Strahan Village in a Harbour View Deluxe Room (exclusive to APT), cruising the Gordon River, enjoying main deck window seating and lunch on board and two nights at Cradle Mountain
