APT offers two new European river cruise brochures
APT says that demand for European river cruising has prompted them to release another two brochures, Viking River Cruises and ms Sound of Music
Australian Pacific Touring’s General Manager Sales and Marketing, Chris Hall said 2007-08 bookings for cruises on the APT-owned ms Amalegro and ms Amadagio river cruise ships featured in the company’s main Europe & Russia Luxury River Cruises brochure had been “extremely heavy”, adding, “We have created two new stand alone brochures which clearly defines them as new products”.
APT World Discoveries has secured exclusive charters of the luxurious ms Sound of Music which will be used for four of its main cruises and the ms Sound of Music will operate two departures of the 15 days Magnificent Europe cruise between Amsterdam and Budapest (from $4965 per person twin share), six departures on the 18 days Magnificent Europe with the option of Paris &/or Prague (from $6195), two departures for the 11 days Legendary Danube with Prague & Paris (from $3615) and one departure for the 8 days Legendary Danube (from $2815). Port charges of $240 apply to all.
The Viking River Cruises Europe and Russia brochure packages seven European river cruise itineraries on Viking River Cruises ships Viking Burgundy, Viking Seine and Viking Pride and the program includes 15 day Grand European tours Amsterdam – Budapest (from $4,695 per person twin share, plus $250 port charges) and 15 day Le Havre – Paris – Avignon (from $5,195 plus $250 port charges), 17 day Belgium-Switzerland-France (from $6,795 plus $220 port charges) and 13 day Belgium-Switzerland (from $3,995 plus $220 port charges) cruises.
Also available is the Imperial Russia tour from Moscow to St Petersburg (from $3,295 plus $200 port charges).
Booking any of the above tours by December 11, 2006 will save $1100 per couple off the above prices, or $500 a couple for bookings made by March 30, 2007.
Mr Hall said Viking River Cruises ships were designed for comfort, featured Scandinavian design interiors, spacious observation desk lounge with plush seating and panoramic windows and served excellent buffet breakfasts and 5-course dinners in European style, adding, “This is high quality cruising to the most popular destinations”.
