Palmer House: Saturdays at 10:30am: March 7, April 4, May 2
This 45-minute walking tour goes behind the scenes of this remarkable Chicago landmark. One of the oldest continuously-operated hotels in the world, the restoration of this historic treasure is an inspiring tale of perseverance, talent, and vision.

Modern Wing of the Art Institute: In partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, CAF docents reveal the context for the Renzo Piano-designed addition and show how it fits into the overall design of the campus. Visitors will see how Piano’s vision pushes the limits of modern museum design while still respecting its historic and contemporary neighbors. Check architecture.org for dates and times.

River North: Transformation of a Neighborhood: Sunday at 10:30am: May 31, July 19; Saturday at 10:30am: June 20.
