Are You #SMITTEN ?

Tuesday, 28 Oct, 2013 0

The above stands for Social Media in Travel xTEN…. but are you getting it? Do you truly understand it? Have you wasted money? Gone down the wrong Social Media channel or missed the right one?

The debate over to how Travel companies should approach marketing continues to rage on. The changes to Google’s SEO algorithm (Tinkerbell) and the increasing cost of PPC have just added to the debate. The rise of primarily Facebook and Twitter have altered some marketers opinion as to Social Media and its commercial worth and that perhaps it is a more cost effective way to a potential client. Recent surveys have said that nothing beats a well-designed traditional brochure that people can touch and feel. Does this whole debate merely give even more credibility to the long held premise that ‘Content is King’? If so are you prepared for it? Travel Industry Question Time debates the issues at hand.

We last debated this two years ago … and how have things changed ?

Save the Date now October 29th from 4.45pm until 6.30pm at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London – Victoria, 2 Bridge Pl, Victoria, London SW1V 1AQ. It’s FREE. Register today at [email protected].
