Argentine airline appoints new UK sales agent
Aerolineas Argentinas has appointed Flight Directors as its new general sales agent in the UK and Ireland to try to strengthen its presence and increasing its market share.
Since last September, Aerolineas has become the only South American member of the SkyTeam Global Alliance, offering UK passengers flights to Buenos Aires and beyond via Madrid and Rome with Air Europe and Alitalia.
Jorge Kosanich, Aerolineas Argentinas manager for Europe, said: "With a history of serving travellers in UK and Ireland that extends over 30 years, this is an important market for Aerolineas.
"We aim to maintain a strong relationship with the travel trade, and I feel sure that Flight Directors will help us to achieve this."
