Arizona Tourism launches training webinars

Sunday, 25 May, 2020 0

Hot off the heels of the ‘Arizona A To Z’ online agent training programme launch, the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) has announced a series of training webinars to educate agents on the state.

Four webinars are currently scheduled to take place every other Tuesday, providing an overview of the ‘Grand Canyon State’ before delving into more specific popular holiday themes including adventure, road trips and the dark skies, which the state is also famous for.

The webinars will complement the new agent training programme, ‘Arizona A To Z’, which launched last month. The free online tool simply requires agents to register before being guided through five modules showcasing the key attractions and experiences across the state including culinary, wellness, adventure and culture, with the aim of aiding agents when selling to a wide range of travellers. The training also shares fun facts, travel information on the five regions within the state and suggested itineraries, with agents securing a certificate upon completion.

The new webinars will run every other Tuesday from 4pm to 4:30pm, focusing on:

·         26th May – An introduction to Arizona

·         9th June – Adventure itineraries

·         23rd June – A look at road trips throughout the state

·         7th July – Dark sky experiences

Agents can register their interest in the webinars here, to receive dial in details or to request a recording if they are unable to attend the webinars live.
