ASH ALERT- Domestic offer for disrupted holidaymakers

Wednesday, 16 Apr, 2010 0

A domestic operator is offering a 10% discount to holidaymakers who have had their breaks cancelled or postponed due to airline chaos caused by volcanic ash.

The offer applies to Farm and Cottage Holidays’ 1,200-strong portfolio of properties in Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Cornwall.

Holidaymakers need to choose their cottage and send confirmation of their cancelled holiday to secure the discount.

The offer is valid for bookings made for holidays commencing before April 25.

Cottages start from at £215 a week commencing tomorrow (Saturday).

Managing director James Morris said: “We wanted to do something to help out the thousands of disappointed holidaymakers across the UK and help them salvage something out of the situation.

“Holidaymakers can re-book to travel here in the UK and with lovely weather predicted for the weekend then the South West is an ideal alternative and we still have some great properties available.”
