Asia next step for Global Travel Market
A new website offering price comparisons on travel to Asia has been launched by Global Travel Market.
Asiatravelmarket.com covers flights, accommodation, touring, attractions, car hire, cruise, insurance and tour operators for travellers wanting to visit Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore.
The official launch of the new site follows the introduction of australiatravelmarket.com, almost a year ago.
Global Travel Market CEO Dave Simmons said: “As independent travellers increasingly research and book their trips online, Global Travel Market provides a platform for customers eager to compare prices on relevant components of their trips.
“More importantly it is now serving as a one-stop shop as it engages virtually all the suppliers needed for a trip overseas while providing them with a cost-effective way of accessing a global market.
“Australia has already proved the potent possibilities of such a site and Asia, with its thousands of hotels, myriad of touring options and numerous different transport options is perfect for the second site.
“Equally importantly, the site lends itself to the two key markets visiting the region. A large growing market of first timers who want the assurance of travelling with an operator can research those available on the site while also finding out more about the places they would like to visit.
“Alternatively it will attract more seasoned independent travellers who are quite happy booking online and who have been crying out for a service which allows them to do the research in such a simple fashion.”
Chinese and Indian versions of Australiatravelmarket.com are in the pipeline.
