Astreaus Flystar adds leasing director
Aviation veteran Shaun Monnery has joined Astreaus Flystar after more than a decade with Thomas Cook.
He becomes aircraft leasing director for the Gatwick-based airline, bringing 30 years of experience to the role.
Monnery has worked for Dan Air and Air Europe before becoming a founder member of Airworld which was acquired by Thomas Cook in 1996.
He said: “The airline is now truly established and has a great reputation for professionalism and service. I feel I am joining at the start of the next phase of development, a truly inspiring time.
“We have exciting plans, and it is becoming apparent that my role will be at the heart of those plans.”
