ATA names new CEO
ATA Airlines Inc. named John G. Denison, an airline veteran, as CEO.
The appointment is expected to continue through the company’s Chapter reorganization period.
“John has proven himself to be a valuable member of our senior management team in the short time he has been with ATA. We appreciate his willingness to take on a greater leadership role,” said J. George Mikelsons, chairman and CEO of ATA Holdings Corp., owner of ATA
Prior to joining ATA, Mr Denison was in several senior management positions with Southwest Airlines from 1986 to 2001, including acting as Chief Financial Officer.
The Indianapolis-based ATA has service to over 30 business and vacation destinations.
