The latest lawsuit does not specify how much in unpaid taxes are owed the city.

The suit seeks an accounting of the amount of taxes allegedly owed.

The city’s tax rate on hotel stays is 7%.

The defendants in the case are Cendant Travel Distribution Services, Expedia Ind., Priceline.com, OneTravelHoldings, Travelocity.com, Site 59 and others.

Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago and Philadelphia are among cities who have filed similar suits.
