ATPI incorporates no-frills
ATPI has integrated no-frills airlines into the latest version of its online business travel booking tool.
The 2005 version of Corporate Traveller allows users to search and compare the fares of no-frills airlines alongside full service carriers. The fares are shown inclusive of tax and if bookings are made with no-frills airlines the information is captured by ATPI’s management information reports.
In a separate move, to bust the myth that business travellers can find cheaper fares by searching the internet themselves, ATPI is offering a challenge at its stand at this week’s Business Travel Show in London’s Olympia.
The company is so confident that it’s agents can find the best airline fares, that it is challenging corporate customers that visit the stand to try and find a better fare online than its own agents will return on a specified flight. If ATPI loses the challenge, it will give £10 to charity.
ATPI sales director, Adam Knights says the company wants to dispel “myths” about the internet being cheaper.
