Audley Travel deal could be imminent
A deal by investors to buy a £90 million stake in Audley Travel could be decided within a month according to the Sunday Times.
Equistone, the buyout firm which used to be part of Barclays, has emerged as favourite to buy a stake in the upmarket holiday company after rival firm Phoenix Equity Partners dropped out.
It is believed the owners of the Oxfordshire-based business Craig Burkinshaw and John Brewer will stay on at the travel firm, using the money to fund expansion in America.
