Audley Travel in talks with private equity company
Audley Travel is poised to sell a ‘significant’ share in the business valuing the firm at about £95 million.
Owners of the Oxfordshire-based business Craig Burkinshaw and John Brewer are in talks with Phoenix Equity Partners, owners of Filofax diaries and Musto sportswear, reports the Sunday Times.
If agreed, the two founders are expected to stay on at the travel firm with most of the invested money funding expansion in America.
Reports that the luxury operator was looking for an investor began in August.
