Aussie specialist training event to take place in Perth
Australia’s bi-annual agent training event, Corroboree Down Under, will take place in Western Australia for the first time.
Prior to the event in Perth in November 2007, 200 Aussie Specialist agents will have the chance to travel on one of 10 different familiarisation trips over five or six days.
With the support of Qantas Airways and Tourism Western Australia, Aussie Specialist agents from the UK will take part in training workshops where they will meet with over 100 Australian sellers.
Tourism Australia manager distribution and partnership development, Leigh Sorensen, said: “We recognise the value of investing in training and the importance of getting agents down to Australia to experience the destination they are selling first-hand.
“Corroboree Down Under brings these two elements together and the Aussie Specialists that attend will benefit greatly from the event.”
Agents who are not currently an Aussie Specialist but would like a chance to attend the event should register for the Aussie Specialist Programme online at www.specialist.australia.com.’
