Avani signs two Krabi hotels
Thailand based Avani Hotels & Resorts is adding to its domestic portfolio with two new properties in Krabi.
It signed two existing resorts which will be renovated and rebranded over the coming months.
Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort will reopen later this year.
It overlooks the popular Ao Nang Beach and will have 178 contemporary designed rooms.
It will have a new dining outlet and feature the signature AvaniSPA.
"We are extremely excited to include Krabi in our portfolio as the Avani brand expands further within Thailand," said Javier Pardo, VP of operations for Avani Hotels & Resorts.
The nearby Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort will have 83 rooms when it is relaunched next year.
It has direct access to Klong Dao Beach in Koh Lanta, which is a 15-minute boat ride from the mainland.
When the newly rebranded resorts open Avani will have nine properties in operation in Thailand.
