Azores chosen for adventure travel event
Global networking specialist Connections has chosen the Azores for its second event dedicated to luxury adventure travel.
Connections Adventure 2019 will be held on October 27-30 in partnership with Turismo de Portugal and Grand Hotel Acores Atlantico.
Up to 80 selected decision-makers will take part in a number of experiences including nature walks, trekking to the King’s View Lookout, a whale watching boat trip and a tour of the tea plantation at Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana.
Micaela Giacobbe, founder of Connections, said: "Home to some of the country’s greatest natural wonders, including crater lakes, steaming volcanic waters and dramatic landscapes, the Azores is a destination that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of adventure.
"We can’t wait to invite all of our valued buyers and suppliers to this event where they will be able to forge life-long business relationships over unforgettable experiences."
