Azure Holidays ATOL bond called
The ATOL bond of Arrowguide Limited, trading as Azure Holidays, has been called in by the Civil Aviation Authority.
The London-based operator sold packages and charter seat-onlys to destinations worldwide.
The CAA said the company’s bond of 80,578 will be used to repatriate and refund customers.
Those with advance bookings will not be able to travel and instead will have to apply for a refund from the ATOL bond, except those who paid by credit card who will have to apply to their card issuer for a refund, the CAA said.
Passengers on holiday with the operator should be able to continue with their breaks but have been advised to contact the CAA for guidance on 020 7453 6350.
The authority also said that passengers with paperwork from Azure Holidays should check that the ATOL number shown is 3656 as there are other ATOL holders using similar trading names.
