BA inks airline codeshare pact with South Africa’s Airlink
British Airways announced an airline codeshare partnership with South Africa based Airlink.
It boosts connectivity between the UK, Europe, North America and in Southern Africa.
With bases in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban, Airlink is a premium regional airline.
It has a network of cities in 14 countries, including South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia.
The agreement allows BA customers to connect to their final destination via Cape Town or Johannesburg on a single ticket.
It offers more flexibility for those travelling on to destinations such as Windhoek in Namibia and Durban.
British Airways currently flies from London Heathrow to Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Members of the Executive Club can earn Avios when flying on Airlink flights.

Codeshare tickets are now available to book on www.ba.com, for travel from 15 February 2023.
