BA launches winter long haul sale

British Airways has launched a winter long haul sale with discounted flight tickets to 49 destinations.

Prices start from £239 for a return ticket to New York, Boston and Atlanta including taxes. The World Offer tickets are on sale until 1 October 2002 for travel during different time periods from the autumn to early spring next year.

The airline has reduced fares for winter sun destinations, including return tickets to Miami from £279, Orlando from £299, Dubai from £369, Barbados from £399 and Mauritius from £599.

Seven African destinations are on sale including, Nairobi from £449 and Cape Town from £549. Further afield Rio is on offer from £429, Tokyo from £585 and Melbourne from £749.

There are eighteen “bargain transatlantic fares” including San Francisco and Los Angeles from £279, San Diego and Phoenix from £289, Denver, Seattle and Tampa from £299.

Reductions are also available in World Traveller Plus. Prices for a return ticket start from £559 to New York and Boston); £599 to San Francisco and Los Angeles and £869 to Hong Kong.
