BA launching New York flights from Gatwick
British Airways will launch daily direct flights from London Gatwick to New York on May 1.
It means BA will fly to New York from all three of London’s main airports – Gatwick, Heathrow and London City.
Daily flights on flight BA2273 will depart Gatwick at 16:40, arriving into New York’s JFK airport at 19:30.
The returning BA2272 will depart JFK at 22:00 and land back at Gatwick at 10:00 the next day.
The airline said the flight has been timed for ‘fantastic’ connections to its network of short-haul flights to 112 destinations across Europe.
Prices will start from £390 return in World Traveller, £893 in World Traveller Plus and £1,574 in Club World, including all taxes and charges.
