BA to debut Dreamliner service on Delhi route
British Airways has announced its new Dreamliner complete with a new First class cabin, will begin flying to Delhi from October 25.
The route will operate five times a week and will offer World Traveller Plus, Club World and eight First Class seats.
The airline is also revamping 18 of its 747s in line with the newest arrivals to British Airways’ fleet, the first of which will begin flying from September 2015.
In response to customer demand, the airline said it is changing the aircraft’s configuration and adding an additional 16 Club World seats.
Abu Dhabi/Muscat (a double sector flight) and Kuala Lumpur will be the next destinations on British Airways’ network to be served by Dreamliner flights after Delhi.
The re-vamped 747s will operate on selected flights to New York JFK, Chicago, Lagos, Dubai, Boston, Riyadh and Kuwait, with further routes added in summer 2016.
