BA to launch new Spanish holiday flight from London City
British Airways is to launch a new leisure service to Alicante from London City during the peak summer weeks.
The new flights to the heart of Spain’s Costa Blanca will operate four times a week for 10 weeks from the end of June.
It will be the seventh Spanish route for BA at London City, where flights already operate to Granada, Madrid, Malaga, Palma, Ibiza and Menorca.
Luke Hayhoe, BA general manager commercial and customer, London City, said: "The Spanish Costas are still one of the most sought after holiday destinations for British holidaymakers and our new service means they can travel from the heart of London to Alicante in just two and a half hours."
