BACK FROM HOLIDAYS, NEED ANOTHER ONE? HOP TO IT!

Summer holidays may just be winding down for some, but for the 141,000* visitors to popular holiday rental site realholidays.com.au, the search for their next destination has begun.

According to realholidays.com.au, early birds have already started looking for Easter holiday rentals with record numbers of holiday makers visiting the site during January 2008.

“It’s also a strong indicators that holidays are not far away when supermarket isles are already flanked with chocolate eggs,” said realholidays.com.au general manager Shaun Di Gregorio

“I don’t want to be alarmist, but there are just 45 days till the Easter break, which means if you want to stay in a holiday rental, now is the time to book. While I have known people to book next year’s accommodation before the previous year’s hot cross buns have cooled, don’t panic there are still some great homes in great locations available on realholidays.com.au,” said realholidays.com.au’s general manager Shaun Di Gregorio.

Launched just four months ago, realholidays.com.au boasts the largest collection – over 22,000  – of holiday rentals from homes and apartments, be it for short term or long stays across Australia.

It is not only the sheer volume and quality of listings that has attracted a massive 77.8% growth in visitors to the specialty site since its launch by parent company realestate.com.au, but the features that make finding a rental so easy.

Thanks to the site’s quick and simple search tools, it has never been easier for families to find the home from home that meets their needs. From complete and organised information that includes photos, detailed property descriptions, pricings and the amenities close by. In addition to searching for properties by locations and the number of bedrooms, users may also search by type of property such as serviced apartments, houses and apartments.

“Whether the family and the budget are large or small, there are properties to suit all requirements. For example, two bedroom apartments along the Great Ocean Road in Anglesea  available from as little as $300.00 per week; three bedroom cottages in Blue Mountains start at around $495.00 per week; and large, four bedroom luxury homes in Port Douglass can be found for around  $3000 per week,” Di Gregorio said.

“Holiday homes are perfect for families, providing space, private facilities, a safe environment, the flexibility to eat in or out, and huge savings on travel agent prices. With holidays being a key time for re-establishing family bonds, rentals are ideal for larger, extended family groups too, or two families can double up to cut costs and keep the kids entertained,” he added.
