Bali hoteliers in new promotion

Tuesday, 03 Jun, 2010 0

Bali Hotels Association (BHA) is behind a new feature film promoting the island and a visitors’ guide using 2D Barcodes.

The promotional film, to be distributed worldwide, will be launched on June 12 with a golf competition at Bali Golf and Country Club and a gala dinner at Nikko Bali Resort and Spa.

Bali is my Life, the brand under which BHA promotes Bali as a destination, has previously used the island people – a dancer, a mask carver, a farmer and a schoolgirl – to deliver the message that “Bali is no manufactured western playground, but an island lived in and loved by its people”.

Last year a new set or characters – a princess, an architect, a stone carver, a rafter and a restaurant owner – reinforced the message.

They will be featured in the promotional film and also on the re-designed Bali Hotels Association website, also to be launched on June 12.

The proceeds from the golf competition will benefit the work being done in Bali by the Rotary Club Nusa Dua.
