Bali tourist fee start date confirmed
Bali’s proposed tourist fee will begin on Valentine’s Day next year.
All foreign nationals arriving in Bali from 14 February 2024 are required to pay a fixed fee of IDR150,000 ($10).
It is also payable for children.
Payment counters are being set up at the airport for payment in cash or by credit card.
Officials claim it takes just a few seconds per traveler to process.
There are discussions about an advance online payment system, which may be implemented before the tourist fee payment goes live.
Non-Indonesians arriving at Bali Airport via domestic flights will also have to pay.
Funds raised by the Bali tourism fee will go towards environmental and tourism infrastructure projects.

Apart from the plan on the fee to be applied, I am looking forward to see the plan on its usage of the fund raised from this.
