Barceló Hotel Group debuts in Thailand
Barceló Hotel Group has boosted its international footprint in Asia with the opening of Barceló Coconut Island hotel.
The recently refurbished five-star resort is on Coconut Island, 500 metres off the east coast of Phuket.
The Thailand resort offers a 24-hour water taxi service, allowing guests round the clock access to all that Phuket has to offer.
Situated in an exclusive beachfront location overlooking Phang Nga Bay, Barceló Coconut Island has 274 units, including 120 two to five-bedroom villas.
The Thailand resort features three swimming pools and expansive tropical gardens for activities like yoga and Pilates or simply for lounging.
Barceló Coconut Island houses a resort spa with a Turkish bath, sauna, a wide variety of massages and spa treatments, as well as a well-equipped fitness area.
The hotel also has two tennis courts and a range of water sports options.
Additionally, there are four restaurants; plus private dining as well as Laku Beach Club with sweeping sunset views of Phang Nga Bay.
Barceló Coconut Island also has fully equipped meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 160 people.
