BA’s Gatwick-JFK service switches terminals this week
British Airways’ New York-JFK service will move from Gatwick’s North Terminal to Gatwick South Terminal on Wednesday.
BA is currently preparing to move all its flights from Gatwick North to Gatwick South by January 25, however, some flights are moving before this date, starting with the airline’s JFK service.
From Wednesday, January 11, BA2273 will depart from Gatwick South and the overnight BA2272 will arrive into Gatwick South at 10am on Thursday, January 12.
Next week, BA’s Gatwick-Naples service BA2612 and the return flight, BA2613, will operate into and from the South Terminal, starting from January 19.
BA reminded passengers: "If you are travelling on one of the flights listed above, you will arrive, clear immigration and collect baggage through the South Terminal.
"Please ensure you allow plenty of time to check in for your flight. Check-in at London Gatwick (North or South Terminals) closes at 45 minutes before departure.
"All British Airways flights will be using the South Terminal by 25 January 2017."
