Bateaux London launches more lunch cruises for the summer
Restaurant and sightseeing Thames river cruise operator, Bateaux London, recently announced the addition of five new lunch cruises throughout the summer months. Almost doubling the overall capacity of the lunch cruises on these dates, this development will enable over 900 more bookings to be made by London citybreak and attraction ticket specialist agents and retailers.
Ian Fyfe, Sales and Marketing Director for Bateaux London commented: “We have traditionally operated one boat offering lunch cruises yet due to the popularity of the service we have opened bookings onboard the Naticia vessel in addition to the Symphony. This is a fun and different way of going out for lunch in London and provides an exciting alternative to eating inside a crowded restaurant on a hot summer’s day.
Growing the products and services available to our business partners is a key priority in cementing Bateaux London’s position as one of the premier city attractions; as well as increased availability we have also invested in a new bookable website allowing independent agents to manage their own commission structure.”
Travel agents will be able to book guests onto a lunch cruise (costing £24 per person including agent commission), with the option of upgrading to the Elite Package which includes a three course set menu, guaranteed seating at a window table, half a bottle of house wine and half a bottle of mineral water and tea and coffee (costing £32 per person including agent commission).
Visit London expects record numbers of visitors to London over summer 2007 due to the predicted warm weather, anticipated airport departure queues and the widest ever diversity and value of activities available to visitors to the capital.
Lunch cruises are available from Wednesday to Saturday weekly with extra cruises now running on 30 June, 14 and 21 July, 9 and 11 August 2007.
Bateaux London also offers a popular weekly Sunday Lunch Jazz cruise starting at £39.50 per person. For more information and to book Bateaux London restaurant cruises please visit http://www.bateauxlondon.com/ , email [email protected] or call 020 7695 1812.
