Belmond launches new brand campaign
Luxury hotel and travel operator Belmond has unveiled a new look with the launch of ad campaign ‘The Art of Belmond.’
It invites all to enter the ‘Wonderful World of Belmond’ to celebrate the ‘Art of Savoir-Vivre.’
The advertising campaign will roll out globally to reinforce brand awareness and bolster its position in the luxury travel market.
"The spirit of the campaign is to celebrate these magical Belmond hotels, trains and cruises with a bit of nostalgia. Our heritage is reminiscent of a golden age of travel but at the same time there is an ‘art of savoir-vivre’ that fizzes through everything. Somehow, I see nostalgia being the new avant-gardism," said Arnaud Champenois, SVP of brand and marketing at Belmond.
There will be a sharp focus on social and digital channels to attract a new audience to the brand.
‘The Art of Belmond’ will comprisea cinematographic film, print and digital adverts.
The Art of Savoir Vivre is made up of a series of six short films, retelling six moments of a guest experience at Belmond and have been made by acclaimed film director Romain Chassaing.
The brand is also bringing out a series of five artistic travel posters which unites its various product offerings under five collections – Historic Hotels, Resorts & Nature, Cruises, Trains and Journeys.
The campaign will include new experiences presented through exclusive brand partnerships which includes photography and music, and #TheArtofBelmond, with a new content strategy across social, digital and select print channels.
"This new campaign articulates who we really are and celebrates our heritage and the authenticity of our individual properties. At the same time, it tells the story of why all these beautiful properties belong together, united under the Belmond flag," Champenois added.
