Benefit for travel agents
The Delta Queen Steamboat Company and the History Channel are launching a promotion promising to promote the travel agent community as “one of the biggest benefactors.”
The History Channel on 12 September will premier its “First Invasion: The War of 1812.” The station will also promote the program on various spots.
In addition to offering prizes to consumers, the promotion encourages viewers to visit agents who can also participate by registering for a sweepstakes. More than 1,000 agents have already signed up as official participating agencies eligible to win cruises on the Delta Queen.
“At Delta Queen, we are focused on providing the highest quality travel agency support in the hospitality industry,” said President Bruce Nierenberg. He added:
“This promotion will deliver potential customers interested in American vacations to participating agencies across the country.”
Tracing its roots back to 1890, the Delta Queen is the oldest continuously operating cruise line in America.
