Berserk airline passenger’s beef: no chicken
A Maryland man was arrested when he hit a flight attendant after being told the kitchen had run out of chicken.
He became “exceedingly irate and began yelling and swearing” before punching the attendant, said air marshal Matthew Lloyd. The flight attendant and two passengers restrained Pierre Delis.
The incident took place about 90 minutes into a trans-Atlantic trip from New York to Zurich.
There were no reports on what was on the menu at the jail where the man was being held.
