Best Western support for Cyclone Yasi victims
Best Western is helping support victims of the Queensland floods and Cyclone Yasi with a $13,000 donation to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.
The funds were raised by collecting 10 percent of every Australian hotel booking under a special “Community Donation†rate for eight weeks.
Kimi Anderson, general manager of sales and marketing, said, “We wanted to support struggling families and businesses that have been affected by the tragic natural disasters over the summer period.â€
Best Western properties in Queensland were relatively unaffected by the large-scale disaster.
